Okanjo is the Local Media Consortium’s newest strategic partner.
We are so excited to announce our partnership with the Local Media Consortium (LMC).
The Local Media Consortium is a strategic partnership of leading local media companies representing more than 1,600 daily newspapers and hundreds of major local broadcast outlets in the best markets in the nation. Consortium members include GateHouse Media, Berkshire Hathaway (BH Media), Calkins Media, Scripps, Lee Enterprises, and Tronc.
The LMC is focused on increasing member company's potential share of digital revenue and audience by pursuing new relationships with a variety of technology companies and service providers. The Local Media Consortium goes through an extensive, months-long process to choose partner companies, including polling media members about their needs and priorities, and vetting only the highest-quality service providers who have expressed interest in working with the Consortium. A few LMC partners include Google, Yahoo, and Tout.
Our partnership with the LMC will provide members access to our SmartServe Ad Unit, Pressed Content and Curated eCommerce Stores. These tools enable online publishers to easily integrate eCommerce into their digital marketing efforts --- providing opportunities for deeper audience engagement and new revenue.
